BzzCampaign: Schick Hydro Silk Sensative Skin Care Razor

What better way to ring in a brand new year than with a brand spankin' new Bzzcampaign from Bzzagent! When I found out that I would be participating in the Schick Hydro Silk Sensative Skin Care Razor Bzzcampaign, I was pretty excited!

So here are a few admission to start off this review lol. We have been experiencing some really cold temperatures lately which has been a wonderful break from the heat we are so used to year round ... the problem ... I definitely didn't shave my legs as often as I should have and even when I did cheated (lol only shaved below the knee :P ). So now that the warmer temperatures are returning, it is definitely time to get out the razor and shaving lotion/cream and get to work!

My Bzzcampaign kit arrived just in time! I was definitely attracted to the packaging, but felt maybe a simpler box would have worked better as I had to practically tear mine apart to get to the razor.

 

I noticed that the razor came with a plastic holder that could be attached in your shower for storage. To be honest, the holder was rather flimsy and really didn't hold it in place so I just didn't use it.

I did a test run using this razor and decided that I would use my Bic soleil on one leg and the Schick hydro on the other. I gotta say, the bic soleil won hands down. I wasn't too happy with the Schick hydro results. The shave wasn't anywhere near as consistent or close as the soleil. I found that I still had patches of hair and had to go over the areas multiple times.

I used the schick brand shaving cream that was recommended to use with the product and all it did was clog up the blades and make a mess.

HOWEVER!!! There are some great perks to this product.

I do love the moisturizing bands around the blades and found that if you bypass the shaving gel and just moisten your legs with water and use the razor, the shave is actually pretty good and really does leave your legs soft to the touch. I also loved that it really moisturized my skin and didn't leave me feeling dry at all.

It has been 5 days since my shave and I can actually say I am just barely starting to see signs of light stubble. This is actually a pleasant surprise for me as I typically start seeing stubble in as little as 2 days, so I definitely like not having to shave as often!

My verdict on this product would be to give it a try. It is definitely a great product to use for those of us with sensitive skin.

Bzzagent Campaign Review: Nexxus Salon Hair Care Hydra-Light

It has definitely been a week of goodies! I received not one, but two fantastic Bzzagent campaign kits this week! Today I am going to go ahead and give my review of the Nexxus Salon Hair Care Hydra-Light Moisture line.

 

From left to right we have:  Nexxus Weightless Moisture Conditioner, Nexxus Weightless Moisture Shampoo, Nexxus Weightless Moisture Root Lift Mist, & Nexxus Weightless Moisture Leave in Conditioning Foam

Oh yes, all of that in one package makes me one very happy girl! First thing I noticed right out of the box was the scent! I love a good smelling shampoo and this one is divine! I began using the product line the very night I received it. I was incredibly pleased with the results. The shampoo provides a great lather and leaves my hair feeling silky and clean. I love that the conditioner doesn't leave a messy residue in my hair. Once my hair has gone from sopping wet to somewhat damp, I used the foam and mist. With as much as I was putting in my hair, I was amazed at how light it felt! The feeling lasted all day without my usual oily residue that I deal with midday. The product line definitely does what it says!

My only complaint is that the line is a bit pricey with a suggested retail price of $9.99 - $14.99 per product. However, if you have the money to spare, you will definitely be pleased.

So my verdict is, if you can afford it, it is definitely worth the purchase!

Bzzcampaign Review: COVERGIRL'S BlastFlipStick Lip Shades

Well, we are finally enjoying the holiday season and with that comes our holiday pictures. My fiance and I always try to take one good photo for the holidays that we can cherish ...(more like laugh at) ...years from now :P.

I can never get my makeup right in these photos and I always end up laughing about it later. This year, I have had some help from the wonderful folks at www.bzzagent.com and CoverGirl!

As a Bzzagent, I was given the wonderful opportunity to try three wonderful shades from Covergirl's new line of Blastflipstick lip shades!


The name is a mouthful, but the product really is amazing. I was able to try out Vixen, Stunner, and Minx.

I love the fact that it really is almost two lipsticks in one, but it is the layering effect that makes this product unique. If you were already laying lipsticks before, this will help you save room in your makeup bag by carrying one lipstick in stead of two or three. One side is a lovely flat color while the other has a pearly shine to it. My only complaint is that I wish the pearly side wasn't as bold. I would have liked it to be more of a gloss, but that is my own personal preference and really doesn't take anything away from this product as it really is simply amazing.

The Blastflipstick retails for approximately $8.49 which may seem a bit high for some, but when you really look at it you are buying two lip colors at about $4.25 a piece which is a great deal.

So, if you are you looking into a new lip color to play with or if you just want to try something new, you really should give this one a go

Bzzagent Campaign: Dentyne Ice Split2Fit Packs

What a pleasant surprise it was to come home after a long day of classes (running my online shop and taking my Fall semester college courses definitely keep me on my toes!) to find that one of my bzzagent campaign kits had arrived!

As I entered the living room, My younger sister (also a college student) and her boyfriend were relaxing on the sofas enjoying their usual crime shows. As soon as they saw the package in my hands, I saw smiles spread from ear to ear!

This was definitely a generous kit! There were two 3 count packs of the new Dentyne Ice Split2Fit packs of gum! that is 48 pieces of gum times two!

So after reading the guide, my first packet of gum was ...hmmm I guess the word mauled comes to mind! My sister and her boyfriend chose the spearmint and arctic ice packs while my mother chose the peppermint. They too have begun sharing their gum with fellow classmates, bandmates (my sister's boyfriend is in a band), and fellow friends and family. We have heard some amazing reviews about how easy it is to split the pack in two; one to go and one for the car,purse,desk,etc. It is definitely a convenient way to have some breath refreshing gum on the go without having to buy two separate packs!
